MOUNTAIN BIKING IN NEPAL
Nepal’s diverse terrain is what mountain bikers’ dreams are made of. Natural topography and spectacular landscape with many tracks and trails make the country an ideal venue for mountain biking. Centuries-old dirt roads and mountain viewing trails along the entire length of country are suitable for mountain biking in Nepal.
Since last few years, mountain bike lovers are growing to visit Nepal for biking tourism. Recently, UK based adventure sport tourism company Extremel World Challenge (EWC) has successfully completed organizing ‘YAK ATTACK 2007’ in Annapurna Circuit in association with NCA. Similarly, recently free ride world champions Hans Rey, Wade Simon and Richie Sherley have visited Nepal and they are very optimistic about the development of mountain biking in the country.
These activities indicates Nepal as a popular destination in Mountain Biking.
